July 28 - 31, 2014
In conjunction with the ARP Women's Ministry, CEM holds an annual conference held at Bonclarken Conference Center in Flat Rock, NC. Our goal is to make learning fun for the spiritual growth of family members of all ages and to encourage families in their walk with Christ.
Richard Davis Phillips became the twelfth Senior Minister of the Second Presbyterian Church of Greenville in July, 2007.
He came to faith in Jesus Christ at age 30, surrendering his life to the Savior in response to the preaching of God’s Word. He attended Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA where he received his Master of Divinity.
Rev. Phillips describes his ministry as centering on three “P”s: preaching, praying, and pastoring. Among his many activities, he serves on the board and council of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, the council of The Gospel Coalition, and the board of trustees of Westminster Theological Seminary. In addition to the Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary, Rev. Phillips holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (M.B.A.) and the University of Michigan (B.A.).
